You can find the supplier by following the simple steps given below:

• You can find the supplier by selecting/clicking the appropriate sub-category/items in the Left menu .
• You can also search suppliers by selecting the appropriate country.

How would I come to know, when someone is interested in my product/Sell/Buy Offer?

Premium membership charges: This transaction would display the amount you have paid, when you register as a premium member of ScrapBuyerSeller.

Purchase Credits : This transaction would display, the amount and no. of credits when you purchase the credit package to make any transaction on ScrapBuyerSeller.

Featured sell offer : This transaction would display the amount and credits deducted from your account when you post a featured sell offer.

Featured buy offer : This transaction would display the amount and credits deducted from your account when you post a featured Buy offer.

Purchase Contact Details(Sell Offer) : This transaction would display the amount and credits deducted from your account when you purchase contact detail for the sell offer.

Purchase Contact Details(Buy Offer) : This transaction would display the amount and credits deducted from your account when you purchase contact detail for the buy offer.

Purchase Contact Details (Product) : This transaction would display the amount and credits deducted from your account when you purchase contact detail for the product.

Why do we have different Question Mark signs (Red and Blue) on search pages and similarly on other pages?

What is the need to click the verification link, which is sent on my email id after the registration process?

A confirmation message with a verification link will be sent to your email id after the completion of registration process. You need to click the verification link or copy paste the link in a web browser and validate it by hitting the enter key. This step is required to verify your unique email id for sending business leads and all future communication from ScrapBuyerSeller. Why does it shows a Popup everytime when i login into the website and why is it important to complete the profile?

A popup is shown in order to remind you to complete your profile. It is very important to complete your Profile and Items You Buy and Sell Because until then you are not shown in Search Results to other Users on the Buyer and Supplier pages on the top menu of the website.

Also if any user purchases your contact details, we are not able to provide them with your complete contact details like Phone, Address and Name and hence you will lose some business. Therefore it is extremely important to keep your profile updated all the time with Correct Information.

Why does the popup keeps on coming/asking me to complete profile when I click My Account or when I login or when I click Add Products even when I have already completed my profile.

The reason for this is, you have just completed your profile page but you have not filled up Items you buy/sell which decides for which category we have to show you as a Buyer Or as a Seller on Buyers and Suppliers pages of the website. You can do this by clicking the link Edit Items You Buy/Sell available in the Left My Account Panel or by clicking Update Profile in the Popup.

How can I edit my profile details on ScrapBuyerSeller?

You can edit your profile by following the simple steps given below:
• Login to the ScrapBuyerSeller account.
• Open the Edit Profile page by clicking the “Edit Profile” link under My Account menu of Control Panel.
• You can make required changes to your profile on this screen All the details are editable except username.

• You will be displayed the Items you Buy , you can select the item categories you want to buy and click on “Proceed”.
• Then you will be displayed the items you sell , you can select the item categories you want to sell and click on update to save the item categories

It is advisable to keep Auto Renew Feature as Checked as we will extend your membership automatically if you will have sufficient Credit balance thus helping you not to remember to renew it manually.

But you can always turn this feature off and your membership renewal will be on Manual Mode in that case.

A Buy/Sell Offer is an offer posted on ScrapBuyerSeller by the buyer/seller to list the items he is interested to buy/sell. The, sellers/buyers can respond/enquire to the buy/sell offer as per the items available with them.

How can I post a buy/sell offer?

You can post an offer to buy/sell by following the simple steps given below:

• Login to the ScrapBuyerSeller account.
• Open the Post Buy/Sell Offer page by clicking the “Post Buy/Sell Offer” link present in Control Panel under “My Buying/Selling” as well as under the “Buying/Selling Tools” present in the left menu of Buy/Sell Scrap pages with links on the header of the website or also present as a submenu in the header menu “My Account” or as a menu in the footer as well.
• Select scrap category and sub category.
• Enter offer title and description.
• You can also upload image for your offer.
• Select the check box, if you wish to make the offer featured.
• Once you are done, press the Submit button to post the offer.

How can I edit the details of my Buy/Sell Offer?

You can edit the details of Buy/Sell offer by following the simple steps given below:

• Login to the ScrapBuyerSeller account.
• Open the My Posted Buy/Sell Offers page by clicking the “My Posted Buy/Sell Offers” link present in Control Panel under “My Buying/Selling” or also present as a submenu in the header menu “My Account”.
• Click on the Edit action button of the particular buy/sell offer.
• You will be directed to the Buy/Sell Offers Edit page.
• You can make the necessary changes to your Buy/Sell Offer on this screen.
• You can also replace the image for your offer.
• Once you are done, press the Save button to save the changes to your Buy Offer.

How can I delete my posted Buy Offer?

You can delete the buy offer by following the simple steps given below:

• Login to the ScrapBuyerSeller account.
• Open the My Posted Buy/Sell Offers page by clicking the “My Posted Buy/Sell Offers” link present in Control Panel under “My Buying/Selling”.
• Select the Buy/Sell offer(s) by clicking the check box before the Buy/Sell offer id column.
• Click on the “Delete” to delete the selected offer(s).

What is a Featured Buy/Sell Offer and what are the benefits of a featured Buy/Sell Offer?

Featured Postings are Visible at more than 100 pages across the website including Homepage of the website and in separate Controls throughout the website which are named as Featured Buy Offers, Featured Sell Offers. Having More visibility means your posting are easliy available to all users thus increasing your business.

I am trying to post a Featured Buy/Sell Offer and it is saving as Draft and giving me message to purchase credit. What is a Draft Buy/Sell Offer?

The reason for this is, Featured Buy/Sell Offer requires some credits means, we charge a small amount to post Featured Buy/Sell Offer as we provide Unlimited Visibility to Featured Buy/Sell Offers. 2)Or you can Post this Draft Sell/Buy Offer as a normal Sell/Buy Offer. You can do this by clicking My Draft Buy/Sell Offers link available in My Acount left panel and Click Edit or Publish link and then Uncheck the Featured Check Box and click Save & Publish to post it as a normal/basic Buy/Sell Offer.

What is the difference between My Posted Buy/Sell offers and Draft Buy/Sell offers?

My Posted Buy/Sell Offers are published and live on the website and accessible/visible to other ScrapBuyerSeller users so that they can send enquiries to you or purchase your contact details to contact you and do business with you while Draft Buy/Sell Offers are unpublished on the website and accessible/visible o the Offer poster only. Draft Buy Offers can be later published by the owner.

How can I post the Draft Buy/Sell offers?

You have 2 options after that.

1) if you want to post it as a featured buy/sell offer you can purchase credit which you can see in “Purchase Credit” Section and click My Draft Buy/Sell Offers link available in My Acount left panel and click Edit or Publish link from there. It will take you to Edit/Publish your Buy/Sell Offer page and you can click Save & Publish to publish the draft Sell/Buy Offer to Active Featured Offer.

2)Or you can Post this Draft Sell/Buy Offer as a normal Sell/Buy Offer. You can do this by clicking My Draft Buy/Sell Offers link available in My Acount left panel and Click Edit or Publish link and then Uncheck the Featured Check Box and click Save & Publish to post it as a normal/basic Buy/Sell Offer.

If your account does not have sufficient balance to Post Featured Buy/Sell Offer you will be redirected to the Draft Buy/Sell Offer Confirmation page. Click the “Purchase Credits” button to Purchase credits for your account. After Purchasing the credits successfully you can publish the Draft Buy/Sell Offer.

When you post / publish a Buy/Sell Offer on ScrapBuyerSeller, the offer will be visible to all suppliers/ buyers and they can respond back with their inquiry to the offer posted. All the inquiries posted by interested Sellers/Buyers with respect to your buy/sell offer will be visible in My Buy/Sell Offer responses. Whereas Buyers and Sellers can contact you directly through Buyers and Supplier pages. So when a Buyer contact a Seller through a supplier page, it is called Buy Scrap Enquiry. This can also be posted through Seller Detail Page. So you can easily remember, a buyer wishes to buy something so it is called Buy Scrap Enquiry but this is not corresponding to any Sell Offer.

Similarly when a Seller contact a Buyer through a Buyer page, it is called Sell Scrap Enquiry. This can also be posted through Buyer Detail Page. So you can easily remember, a seller wishes to sell something so it is called Sell Scrap Enquiry but this is not corresponding to any Buy Offer.

Why my total amount to pay is different from the Credit Package Cost or Premium Membership Charges?

Total amount to Pay is different from the credit package cost or Premium Membership charges as it includes the cost of Credit package and Fee charged by the Payment Gateway (Paypal for USD and CCAvenue for India) for transaction. Also for Indian Payment Gateway, we charge 12.36% Service Tax as well which is to be paid to the Government of India. Eg. If the price of Credit package selected by you is $50.00 and Paypal Fee for transactions is $1.80 USD then the Total amount to pay will be $51.80 USD.

Similarly for INR transactions, it will be Credit Package Amount + Payment Gateway fees + Service Charges.

What would be the transaction fee, which would be charged to me for making any payment?

We only charge you the transaction fee taken by Payment Gateways. Presently the fee charged by Paypal for USD transactions will be $0.30 USD as Fixed fee and 3.1 % as percentage fee of transaction amount.

For INR transactions, there is no fixed fee but a 7% fee will be charged on the Credit Card package or Premium Membership Plan.

Why is my Credits deducted automatically?

Whenever user upgrades to Premium Membership, we turn on their automatic Renewal Feature so that user does not have to worry about membership getting expired. You can check this checkbox checked in Manage Membership page which can be accessed in your my Account Left panel.

It is advisable to keep Auto Renew Feature as Checked as we will extend your membership automatically if you will have sufficient Credit balance thus helping you not to remember to renew it manually.

But you can always turn this feature off and your membership renewal will be on Manual Mode in that case.

I want to get my Amount Refunded? What is the Procedure for that? Do you Refund Fees if I don’t like the Service?

We are Service Based Website and provide Authentic leads and Premium Membership for a very small amount for our database and support. But as per our terms and conditions, we don’t refund any fees.
